Pt. 1 has colophon: Argentorati Vuolphgangus Caephalaeus excussit anno. M.D.XXXIIII.
Pt. 2 has title "Consvlvm Romanorvm elenchus" and has colophon dated 1537; in this edition of that part the printer's preface on t.p. verso has last line reading: à nobis expecta.
Title pages within ornamental borders; printer's mark at end of both pts.
Contains portrait roundels by Hans Weiditz, copied from those in Andrea Fulvio's "Illustrium imagines" of 1517; they depict the Roman and German emperors since Julius Caesar, are mostly taken from antique coins, and are accompanied by historical sketches.
Includes index.
