Text in English, printed in letters designed to resemble Chinese characters. First pt. is offset halftones printed in black, second pt. is relief printed in red. The last six leaves of the second pt. are printed on the rectos with grids of 15 squares for calligraphic exercise. Each square measures 2 7/ 8" and is ruled in quarters with dotted diagonal guide lines.
